A splice connector that connects three wires without tools or soldering: insert the wire, close the lever, done. This is exactly what you need when looping recessed spotlights, where you have to connect the live, neutral, and earth wires from each light point to the next spot. With cable glands or terminal blocks, this would take a few minutes per point; with this, it takes a few seconds. Expect one clamp per wire per branch — for a ceiling with six spotlights, you'll easily need fifteen to twenty. Polycarbonate, up to 450V. Also useful for creating a branch connection later without dismantling the existing connection.
