More about LED panels 62x62
Not every suspended ceiling has a 60 by 60 centimetre grid. In older offices, schools and care buildings you also find a 625 millimetre grid, and an ordinary 60x60 panel sits loose in it. That is what these 62 x 62 cm panels are for: they fill the tile exactly, so the panel rests properly on the profile.
Measure your ceiling first
Lift out a ceiling tile and measure the inside of the opening. If it is around 600 mm, choose a 60x60 panel. If it is around 620 mm, you need this size.
Which 62x62 panel do you choose?
- Europa 62x62: back-lit, 4200 lumen from 30 watts, UGR below 19 and IP44. You set the colour temperature yourself between 3000K and 6000K. There is also a dimmable version.
- Mira 62x62: the budget choice, 4000 lumen from 40 watts. You choose the colour temperature when ordering: 3000K or 4000K.
Euro plug or 3-core cable
You order the Europa with a euro plug for a wall socket, or with a 3-core cable for a fixed connection by an electrician. The Mira comes with a cable and euro plug.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a 60x60 and a 62x62 panel?
Only the size. A 60x60 panel is about 595 mm, a 62x62 panel 620 mm. Which one you need depends on the grid of your ceiling.
Is a 62x62 panel suitable for screen work?
The Europa is, with a UGR below 19. The Mira has a UGR below 21 and is therefore better for a corridor, storage room or canteen.
