{"title":"Pendant lamps","description":"\u003cp\u003eA pendant lamp is usually the first thing that stands out in a room, and at the same time the most difficult to hang correctly. Two things determine whether it works: the height above the surface and the relationship between the lamp and the furniture underneath. We carry pendant lamps with E27 and GU10 fittings, and models with integrated LED for above a dining table.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eAt what height do you hang it?\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbove a dining table, you maintain approximately 75 to 90 centimeters between the tabletop and the bottom of the lamp. Lower and you'll be looking into it; higher and the light will scatter across the room instead of focusing on the table. Above a kitchen island, it can be slightly higher, around 80 to 100 centimeters, because you stand there instead of sit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eOne lamp or several?\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbove a round table, one lamp in the middle works best. Above a long table or a kitchen island, hang two or three at equal distances, with about sixty centimeters between them. A bar model with multiple light points in one fixture does the same and saves drilling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eFitting and light source\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith E27, you have the most choice in lamps — from filament for a visible glow to smart. GU10 provides a more focused beam and is more pleasant if the light needs to fall downwards onto the surface. Most of our pendant lamps do not include a light source, so you can determine the light color and wattage yourself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eOn rail or fixed point\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAre you stuck with one central ceiling box but want two or three lamps? Then a rail system is the simplest solution: you hang the lamps on the rail and slide them to where you want them.
